“Kex Hotel merges Icelandic sensibilities with Portland's own brand of cool. The on-site restaurant, Pacific Standard, provides a strong reason to stay, even with a slightly gritty surrounding area; but the central location puts the Oregon Convention Center and nightlife within easy reach. I found the comfortable rooms, fitness options, and communal sauna particularly appealing for those wanting both convenience and a social atmosphere.”
